Hi there,
Please don’t take legal advice from automated site-scanning websites you find on the internet. If you want to know what you need to do to have your site compliant with the GDPR, I suggest you contact an attorney who specialises in this legislation instead.
You can see the various links in the thread @staartmees linked to to see the policies and tools that are available on WordPress.com. Our cookie policy is also linked there.

Hi Kokkieh, thanks but like most of the users here, we don’t want to spend money for an attorney’s advice. At the moment the only thing we need is a widget easy to use where people can give their prior consent or not . Can you send me such a widget please ?
I am not a webmaster or an expert on computers and even if you tell me to read all the GDPR I won’t know what to do at the end :(
THANKS AGAIN

Hi Lidia,
Although we cannot provide legal advice on how to make your site GDPR compliant, you can read this newly published document on GDPR:
There you’ll find some general guidelines and resources to help you create your own privacy policy and link it to the Cookie & Privacy Banner widget.
