WordPress and Instamapper
-
I’m am trying to embed an Instamapper map, (the code), on my Blog and can’t seem to get it to work. It will not save… each time I try part of the code is deleted.
Occasionally I can enter the code using the HTML tab and I will see the ‘map’ when I click visual, sometimes I cannot see the map. Either way… as soon as I hit ‘save’ part of the code is deleted.
Here’s the code provided to me by Instamapper:
<!– BEGIN INSTAMAPPER CODE –>
GPS tracking powered by InstaMapper.com<iframe style=”border:1px solid;” width=”600″ height=”335″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” src=”http://www.instamapper.com/ext?key=***removed***&width=400&height=300&zoom=13&units=imperial&coords=d”>
</iframe>
</div>I have substituted ***REMOVED*** for the key number itself.
Once I hit save… without ever having touched the VISUAL tab, this is what will be left of the above:
<!– BEGIN INSTAMAPPER CODE –>
GPS tracking powered by InstaMapper.com</iframe>
</div>The iFrame tags are gone.
Anyone have any ideas what might be happening? Thanks, JamesJM

Thanks, katm, I discovered that after posting this message… sorry about that. I was not aware it was an ‘iFrame’ problem when I posted this so I didn’t know to search for ‘iFrame’ which would have answered my question. – JamesJM
