Wordpress and Jetpack won’t stop spamming me with emails, and the unsubscribe is broken
It says no emails will be sent on my best-guess accounts but the spam continues daily.
There’s no way of knowing which account it is? https://prnt.sc/twb0pe
Can someone there just stop all unsolicited emails coming to me, I am happy to verify all the accounts I own thx

I had a look at our logs, and the only emails we’ve sent recently for the email on file for the
zoes0702account you’re using to post here is an email when you opened this forum thread, and an email a week ago to confirm your subscription to your own site, Zoe Larkin Photography. Our logs don’t show any other emails to the address listed at https://wordpress.com/me/account/ for this account.At what email address are you receiving these emails? Email addresses are automatically hidden in the forums so only staff can see them, so it’s safe to post that here.
If it’s at a different email address, you need to log out of your
zoes0702account first, before you click the unsubscribe link on the email. If you click that while logged into any WordPress.com account, it will take you to the subscription options for the account you’re currently logged into, rather than for the email address at which you received those notifications. -
Hi Kokkieh! It’s me, now from the account in question. The emails from WP and Jetpack are coming to the address (email visible only to moderators and staff). strangely, it doesn’t say which WP account it was, and as I have so many logins saved https://prnt.sc/twb0pe there is no way of knowing why it’s sending them.
I don’t use the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) to log into any of my WP accounts, but it must be set up as an administrative email address for one account.
My account this refers to has no notifications and this has always been the case: https://prnt.sc/tx80z5 (and my other account I guess set up on a different wordpress.com ID: https://prnt.sc/tx83aa)

No matter what account I’m logged into before pressing the unsubscribe link, I always get the exact same ‘error unsubscribing’ message sent before. Im aware of how to unsubscribe all things working correctly, so hence needing to bring to your attention and get manually unsubscribed from all mailings.
Unless it’s related to some completely different account that I’m not even aware of….. and that’s the issue….

Ok, try this:
1. First log out of WordPress.com.
2. Then, visit https://subscribe.wordpress.com and enter the email address receiving the emails.
3. You will be sent a link to manage subscriptions under that email address, and _while still logged out_ click that link to manage your subscriptions and unsubscribe as desired.
If that doesn’t work, what email address are these being sent from, and would you please provide one or two screenshots of these emails?

4 it then says to log in which I did at the account I *think* refers to this
5 – https://prnt.sc/txc7hv It isn’t possible to manage any subscriptions to an account unless you’re logged into that account. Please note there is no way of knowing which account it refers to. The actual email address the spam’s coming to isn’t set us as a wordpress email address: https://prnt.sc/txcajm
6 then I get back to the original settings, which are/ were always set to unsubscribed, no change https://prnt.sc/txc7td and https://prnt.sc/txc84m7 a couple of recent emails that I kept to show you https://prnt.sc/txc8ud
