WordPress and SmugMug
-
I found this question and there was no answer or reply on it from anybody…
I really would like to know if it is possible to add SmugMug to WordPress.COM blogs in any way… as a slideshow or as a widget in the sidebar…
I recently switched from flickr to smugmug. I used to use slide.com’s slideshows in my wordpress blog. It pulled my pictures from flickr and generated a wordpress friendly code I could use in a blog post.
Is there anything similar for smugmug users? I’ve looked high and low to no avail. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Take a look for help on smugmug’s support forum. There are several wordpress pluguns that integrate with smugmug.

@ wetzelphoto, this is the wordpress.COM hosting service and we cannot use plugins here.
You need to review this: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .

I searched the forum and so far as I can tell, there is no way to add a smugmug badge to wordpress.com (not wordpress) ? If so why not? the smugmug badge code looks pretty straightforward…

Well, somehow I tried to work around it with a html link in a text widget…
It would be nice though if it can be done in the future…Tnx for your help all…

The Flickr widget works with smugmug if you paste in the URL of your Smugmug feed instead of a Flickr RSS URL. Smugmug offers lots of customizable RSS feeds, too, so you have great flexibility.
