Thanks, we didn’t know you’d already tried that. Unfortunately we’ll need to continue troubleshooting since this is a rare issue, so if you’ve tried other things please let us know.
Also, did you install any programs or updates recently? I’m wondering if there’s a security setting causing issues.

The issue was obviously created when you deleted your original site. I’m sure you can’t be the first person that’s ever done that. But there must be some setting that needs adjusting. Is your new site set as the primary domain of your account?

The 2 domains are the same blog (if that matters) but yes joeysjourney17.wordpress.com is the primary domain

@joeysblog19 you deleted one of those domains recently via the address change tool. Would you like us to restore it to see if that helps?

I have restored joeysjourney2017.wordpress.com back to your account so you can try again.
If this still doesn’t work I suggest following these steps:
1. Remove the app (once more)
2. Remove any residual library and cache files with a utility like AppCleaner
3. Restart your Mac
4. Install the app
