WordPress App – Photo Captions?

  Is there anyway to add captions to photos using the WordPress App on an iPhone?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Right now there’s not any built-in way for you to set a caption for a photo which you’ve inserted using the WordPress App.

  You can however insert the image above any of your content and make a comment directly below the image. It will not be a true caption, however it will be close!

  Thank you for your response. It is really awkward trying to insert text between multiple pics. I post blog entries from the trail while backpacking and have used this app for the last 3 summers. Is there a way to add HTML?

  Hi there,

  There is indeed. What you would need to do is:

  * Open a new post.
  * Click the Insert a New Photo icon (in the lower right corner).
  * Select your photo and allow it to upload.
  * Tap the icon in the lower left corner which looks like a pencil.

  The HTML code will be displayed for your image. You can then add any additional text which you would like!
