WordPress App Stats Error & Time Has Changed

    I am having two problems that I realized about 48-72 hours ago.

    1) At some point on Friday, I noticed that the stats page on our website was running six hours ahead (UTC instead of CST). I can find nowhere on our site’s WP backend or WordPress.com where the time has been changed from Chicago (CST).

    2) The WordPress App for iOS is now returning ‘”An error occurred” for all stat lines on the Days, Weeks, Months and Years views. While the Insights page has some data on it, what is there appears to be many days out of date.

    I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.     Thanks. I was able to fix the stats and time by logging into WordPress.com, then clicking on Settings > Data synchronization and then having it resync with JetPack. All appears to be fine afterward.
