wordpress are mean for european and google blog are for USA ?

Hi All,
After trying out wordpress with the help from this forum , i must said that this is very powerful software. as it is very user friendly. I get to know this from some of the blog i visit last few month. and these people are from european. so i assume that wordpress are develop mainly from european people . as compare to google blog which is from USA.
Hope some one can clear my doubt.

No, WordPress is developed by people from around the world, but it started in the US. Blogger actually started in the UK. But any platform with any pretense at importance tries to facilitate international users.

I have no time to try Blogger, as i am very busy learning wordpress in these few days , it is possible for you to share with me wordpress plaform is more open then Blogger ?
