Once I’ve logged in to WordPress, if I go to post a page, or update jetpack, or customize themes, I am asked for a second login. My first login is not recognized in this second login. My username does not work for this second login. The email I use to login to WordPress the first time is not even recognized. I essentially cannot do anything with my website.

    Halp!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built in to WordPress.COM blogs. Therefore, you may want to share you solution on the Jetapack support forum at WordPress.ORG.

    re: Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

See also this guide to Disconnect Jetpack Sites http://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/

Also note that for WordPress.ORG issues, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

I’m a little confused. I access my website through wordpress.COM, yet it tells me that jetpack is out of date. Should I not have jetpack on a wordpress.COM site?

I am prompted to use the “disconnect jetpack” option, but I am not sure what will happen if I do. As I read in the “disconnect jetpack sites” support page, I can disconnect the site from my WordPress.COM account, but that sounds like I’ll have to make a new site.
