WordPress Audio Player – default colors changed?

  Just noticed today that the WP audio player has changed: the look of the player has changed (there are now volume controls on the left side and the way play progress is displayed is different now) and also the background color (after hitting play) is dark green, whereas the color scheme was entirely gray/black/white before.

  This doesn’t look good at all, and now you can no longer read the “song time” or “buffering” messages on the player. Has the audio player changed? I can’t imagine that this is what the default colors are now..any way to revert back to the original color scheme?

  i have o idea…i just realised this a few days ago. i don’t like it at all but i haven’t heard much else on the forums or support boards of why this is…
