WordPress back up import

  Hi,
  We used WordPress for our website and then switched to a different platform for website.  Before we transferred it to FG, we have exported a back up file from WordPress because the support says we can just upload it back to WordPress if we decide to return.
  
  How can we import our wordpress back up files?
