WordPress "Be The First To Like This" Button

    Most of the time the WordPress “Like” button is continually loading while I’m logged into my site. What’s up with that y’all?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    • What operating system and web browser does this happen in?
    • You mentioned that the Like button doesn’t load when you are logged into your site. Does it load properly when you are logged out?
    • Can you try disabling any browser extensions or add-ons and see if the Like button loads for you?

    I disabled all browser extensions and that seems to have done the trick.!

    Hi Amy, I’m glad that worked for you!

    You may want to try turning your browser extensions on one at a time to identify which one caused this problem — that way you don’t have to keep all of the extensions disabled in order to use the Like button. :) Happy blogging!

    Hi Rachel! I spoke too soon on finding the solution to my prob.
    I only had one browser extension (no add-ons) on at the time & when I turned it off, the “Like” button finally did load. Then when I refreshed the page it started loading again.
    My OS is Windows 7
    The button continues to load whether I’m logged in or out.
    I downloaded Firefox, but the problem still persists…help!
