  Please WordPress, could you give us to option to revert back and have NO BLOCKS!! These blocks are a PAIN!! I don’t feel like using WP anymore and will discourage anyone using WP.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you for your reply. I am confident with the blocks, but hate them. Why not one single block for everything and all the coding with ! for whatever you do in html – honestly, keep it simple but effective for everyone – even the person who knows nothing (not me but others). I don’t see the need for the blocks – it’s just so annoying and for those first time bloggers, so confusing. The way it was, was simple, straight forward and no problem to blog. This new layout with blocks will put many people off and I don’t look forward to blogging anymore.

  The classic editor has been retired.

  The classic editor is still available via WP-Admin:

  Thank you for your reply and I did actually (after looking around for a few minutes – didn’t see it immediately) find the classic editor and glad it is still there! Why do you break a system that actually worked so well!! Glad to see the other comments from other people, so not just me thinking the classic one is the best!

  I believe in: Simple, but effective. Those new blocks are not this.
