WordPress Blog Doesn't Load WIthout Https In URL

  Of late, I have noticed that whenever I type icyabstract.wordpress.com in the address bar, I will be directed to an error page that indicates the ‘connection has expired’. I tried this on several browsers of mine (FF and Safari) along with asking some friends to try this out as well and they faced the same issues.

  However, once I added a https://icyabstract.wordpress.com to the URL (with the https), the website loads and is completely fine. I guess the issue here is because I don’t understand why it doesn’t load without https indicated, like other websites would. Also, because if anyone tried to find my website without including ‘s’ in http (because the layman using a browser wouldn’t bother to), they wouldn’t be able to find my site and that is bothering me.

  Sorry for the lengthy message but, anyone knows what could be the cause?

  Thanks for the link to that thread! WordPress seems up and okay once more, thankfully. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong from here on! I do have another issue with imported posts now but I’ll search around the threads first.
