WordPress Blog Down
-
Hi all, over the last few weeks my blog at http://greenminimalism.com has been slow to load, but you could usually get through. Now it just doesn’t work at all. I get a ‘problem loading page’ error in Firefox instantly, and cannot access via the wordpress subdomain either. I can still access my dashboard though. What could the problem be?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Who do you pay to host your blog?
Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although greenminimalism.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. -

there is domain mapping for greenminimalism.com – but the name servers are not pointing to WordPress.COM
did you move your site off WordPress.com to cloud flare?
If you are on cloud flare you need to make friends at WordPress.ORG or contact your host or registrar

i mean the greenminimalism.wordpress.com URL.
Thanks guys – your help has made the problem reveal itself. I was using cloudflare for a while but stopped using it. But strangely, my site has continuted to funciton, until yesterday, when I started having problems. I forgot to change my DNS servers for my custom domain when I changed from cloudflare.
Thanks again.

Hi again
I’ve changed my domain’s nameservers and waited for many hours, and I’ve still had no luck accessing my blog. I’ve even changed the main domain of my wordpress blog to greenminimalism.wordpress.com, but it continues to redirect to my custom domain, which doesn’t work. Help please?

whatsmydns & Domain Helper show that you have the name servers set correctly to WordPress.COM, but you don’t have the corect Primary set correctly
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#setting-the-primary-domain
Oops, No Primary Site Set
There is no primary domain set for greenminimalism.wordpress.com. This means that although greenminimalism.com will forward to the site, greenminimalism.com will appear in the browser address bar.
Once the name servers are changed it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet. Leave the name servers set to WordPress.COM, Change the Primary Domain then let things set. Try clearing your browser cache.

I flagged this for a second opinion from the staff
but from what I can see with whatsmydns & Domain Helper you have everything set correctly, there are many times local caching issues with routers etc. that make seeing a site difficult for a while.
Do you have a friend that has not visited your site in many months that you can send a link to and see if they can see your site? I had to do that with One of my sites some time back when I moved it, there were some local cashing issues that just would not seem to update for the longest time

I see that the name server records are correctly set now. Do you still encounter issues?
Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?
