WordPress blog integration with HTML site.
-
I have built websites in a text editor and have hosting services from GoDaddy. Is it possible to integrate a WordPress blog in a sub directory of my HTML site? If so how do I do that, and do I need to purchase anything from WordPress.

Hi @aleccostanza1, as long as GoDaddy allows that on your hosting plan, yes you could install a free copy of WordPress in a subdirectory. You would not need to buy anything from us.
Perhaps this page will help?
You can use our service, which provides hosting and management, as well as support with paid plans. If you use our service, you would need a business plan to add plugins.
Or, since you already have hosting elsewhere, you can set up your own free WordPress installation there. Just note many hosts do not offer WordPress management and support, or they charge extra for it. This is a good option if you want to handle the technical end of things yourself. You’ll still have access to the WordPress.org community here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Great, thank you for your help. After installing WordPress in CPanel, am I able to style to the WordPress blog in css?

As far as I know, yes. However, it’s best if you check directly the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. Here we can only help with sites hosted on our servers.
