  Had new website built with a wordpress blog it did not have the facility to change appearance etc so foolishly downloaded the wordpress from my host setting and i have lost whole website and content any help please

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, WordPress.com can not help you with a site that you hosted elsewhere. I assume you are talking about a self-hosted WordPress site. The following support document explains the difference: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Unless you have a backup, there’s not much you can do. Your best bet would be to contact your web host.
