WordPress blog owner made misstatements about me

This WordPress blog owner was contacted by my publisher about copyright infringement. He has excerpted portions of a book I wrote and posted them on his blog without a citation. WordPress declined to do anything about it. He calls me an ‘ex-librarian,’ but I am currently working as a librarian and expact to be for some years. That’s the problem: This search result still comes up high in search results.
I talked to a longtime friend of this blog owner and he tells me the blog owner is known locally to be mentally ill. I think that’s apparent just from reading his blog.
Any advice welcome about how to remove statement that I am an ‘ex-librarian’ and copyright infringement. Thank you.
