WordPress blog pointing to parked domain – is it possible?
-
Hello,
I’d like to know if I can point a wordpress blog to my parked domain, so that I don’t necessarily need to pay domain hosting for it. I know Tumbls allows for something similar, I’m just wondering if it’s possible with WP as well. And if so, how can I do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here on WordPress.com it is called “domain mapping” and is a paid (inexpensive) upgrade:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
details about using your existing domain:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/Please be sure to read the Terms of Service. Your site will hosted here on wp.com so you must comply with them.
Same Terms of Service: The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not permit the use of any kind of prohibited code or upload additional themes or plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service.
