wordpress blog shows file directory

  I recently abandoned my blog to work on my portfolio website which is on the same server. Right now, if you go to the address, http://www.gilesnorway.com, you get my portfolio site. But if you enter http://www.gilesnorway.com/wordpress you jsut get a file directory. I was able to make it back to the admin page but when I try to view a post it sends me to my portfolio site.
