wordpress blog to link to showit site

    Hi! I’d like to create a wordpress blog and link it to my showit site. I already own my domain via Google Domains and would like to keep it as is if possible. Basically, I’d like the ‘blog’ portion of my website to link to wordpress. is that even possible?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hello,

    You can create a free website for the blog. You should put a redirect button on your main site to the blog. But in this case, your blog will have the default domain “wordpress.com”.

    To create blogs it is common to use a subdomain. However, it is not possible to connect a subdomain of a domain that is already connected or registered in an account other than WordPress.com.

    To install a custom domain, you can subscribe to a paid plan. In this case, you can access a free domain for one year.

    In all cases, you will have two sites: your main site and your blog. Each is managed in different locations.
