WordPress Blog Website not giving secure icon in Firefox and Chrome browser
-
Hi,
I saw that the connection for my blog https://sheokhanda.wordpress.com/ is coming as not secure. I feel it can be hacked and taken down, can you please help me securing it ?
Do I need to enable something ?
I see the Chrome and Firefox browser giving alerts on connection not secure, but other bloggers have their blogs secured. To give the example, few are belowhttps://soundspictureswords.wordpress.com/

Hi there Sheokhanda,
I checked through https://www.whynopadlock.com/ & it looks like you’ve just added a couple of insecure items to your widgets, like
http://cdn.iconfinder.net/data/icons/Classy_Social_Media_Icons/16/facebook.pngand your flag counter:
http://s07.flagcounter.com/count/bK1/bg=FFFFFF/txt=000000/border=CCCCCC/columns=3/maxflags=80/viewers=0/labels=1/I’d recommend trying to add an “s” after the http in each of those. If that doesn’t work, I’d consider removing those widgets.
The good news is your site won’t be hacked by that. But, if it’s missing a padlock your readers might not feel secure, so I’d recommend fixing those.
