  I have a wordpress blog through my website server. Is there a way to transfer it to the new wordpress blog I created through the word press site without having to manually retype it all?

  You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.org/support/ . Self-hosted blogs are supported over there. This forum is for those hosted here at wordpress.COM, the free hosting service.

  If you are trying to import a self-hosted wordpress blog into an account on wordpress.com, while logged in to your wordpress.com account, Dashboard>Manage>Import and then click on the bottom selection, “WordPress:Import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.” Follow the instructions there.
