wordpress bug
-
Hello,
I can’t uninstall the Facebook plugin from my website. This is an issue with the Facebook Plugin as I can’t even tick the white box to select it but all the plugins have that option. When I go into my Facebook pixel and press disconnect, the links seem to be broken and nothing pops in. I cleared the cache and deactivated the ad blocker. I wish I could send you a screenshot.
Could you help me, please? It stops me from optimising ads.

Hi there, I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under the account you’re currently logged in with.
Would you please tell us the URL of the site with the problem?
Once we know that, we should be able to help or at least direct you to the folks who can.

Hey macmanx,
the URL is http://www.wataha.co.uk
I’m the admin for this page. Weird, I can log in using my email but not by the username. Also, there are a couple of things that are not working on my WordPress site.
I appreciate your help, thanks

To clarify, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and where you’re posting for help.We can only help with sites hosted on our platform, but we can get you pointed in the right direction.
Your login to your site can be found here: https://www.wataha.co.uk/wp-login.php
Once you’re logged into your site, follow the steps here to remove that plugin:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#uninstalling-plugins-1
If you have trouble removing it that way, you can log in via FTP to remove it. With FTP (also known as File Transfer Protocol), you need to contact your webhost (GoDaddy) to get your FTP login information for your website. They should be able to provide that for you upon request.
Then, here’s an excellent tutorial video on how to use FTP to find your plugins folder – the video references how to fix things if plugins go wrong!
If you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

I hope that helps!
