WordPress built site disappeared after domain name was changed
-
My purchased domain name has been ‘ willowresources.co.uk’. The hosting IONOS by 1&1 has provided WordPress support. After proceeding to WordPress builder from their page I have built a website where the URL automatically from the beginning was http://s819603786.websitehome.co.uk/wp-login.php?
It occurred to me that this was purposeful so that the website is not easily found while its being built.
When the website was ready for release,
I have proceeded to change the domain name to the normal ‘ willowresources.co.uk’. After doing so the page got stuck, everything disappeared and I am not able to access the previous link either. After logging in now I am redirected to another brand new builder page with nothing on there – not even plugins. Is there anything that can be done to undo this? Thank you for your help

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
Please contact IONOS support directly for help with this, as they control how the domain is connected to your site.
For general help and advice with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community instead at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
