  I am looking into transferring a business website but need to make sure it is compatible with what I need…

  We need a website that will allow individual user to log and access files specific to them and be able to download a pdf file once per week (so not a generic log in for all users)-is that possible with the business account?

  Is there a limit to how many pages can be used?

  Are there any free stock photos through wordpress to be used on the site?

  What fees would be incurred if we were to switch our domain name from another host (we currently own the name)?

  Does the 30-day refund apply to a business account if we find that it will not do what we need?

  Hi there,

  Our system does not offer a feature where an individual user would have access to different files than other users. Every user of your site would see (or not see) the same content. You can however make certain pages password protected if that would work for your needs.

  If you need higher level functionality than what we offer, you might be better off with a self-hosted WordPress installation and one of a number of membership/ecommerce plugins.

  We do offer a few free images that will be suggested through Zemanta based on the content of a post or page, but you may wish to choose your own stock photo provider.

  In terms of costs and refunds, domain mapping is $13/year which allows you to use a currently registered domain on WordPress.com. We have a 30 day refund policy for all of our upgrades (other than new domain registrations), which includes the Business bundle.
