WordPress Business – USD vs GBP

    I’m interested in WP Business, but how come it is $299 in the US, but £250 in the UK? £250 is around $380. Why are we having to pay $80 more in the UK for the same thing? I’m more than happy to pay in USD and take whatever the exchange rate is at the time – after all, it will only be paid once per year yes?

    The prices for WordPress.com upgrades in non-USD currencies (like GBP) are determined by a combination of exchange rates and local taxes/fees such as VAT, and are adjusted periodically to account for changes in those taxes and exchange rates. The currency used for your upgrades is based on your location and local currency, so you’ll need to purchase upgrades for your site in your local currency (GBP).
