WordPress Cancellation is a scam

Hi WordPress,
I wanted to email to let you know that you screwed me over for a cancellation. I had bought the premium package (plus a domain name) last Monday but after having too much trouble uploading my site, I decided to cancel my package and get the domain name returned. I had cancelled within the 48 hour window to get the domain refunded (I cancelled within twelve hours of purchase), got a cancellation confirmation email, confirmed the cancellation, and yet you STILL charged me $99 and refused to cancel my subscription WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION. Now, I cannot cancel the domain registration although I was entirely in my right to do so. I was only supposed to pay the $9 security fee that was not refundable. Instead, you socked me with a $99 bill.
I had thought that WordPress provided the perfect service to host my business, but now I promise you that I will never use WordPress again. I will never recommend your services to anyone as both your hosting services and customer service options are horrible. I apologize in advance to whomever gets this email, but I am a very dissatisfied customer.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry about that! I’d be happy to cancel your domain and Premium package with a full refund.
Before I do, please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.
Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:
After 60 days from the date of purchase or registrant contact information change, you may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:
I understand you had some trouble uploading your site? Let me know if there’s anything that I can do.
But, if you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name and Premium upgrade please reply to confirm.

I apologize for my anger. It was not directed to you at all. And thank you for your help. I would definitely like to cancel the entire package. I’ve tried before and gotten a “confirm cancellation” email but it doesn’t cancel my package when I click on it. If you could help with this, that would be fantastic. I’m not sure what’s going on but would like it fixed ASAP.

Hi Alex,
I have canceled the Premium upgrade and the domain as requested. You have been fully refunded. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.
The domain will be sent back to registrar.
