WordPress cannot produce XML file to export blog

    I tried to download the XML file (all content) to start transfering my blog to a different server with WordPress.org, but after several attempts, wordpress only provided error pages such as HTTP 500 on Explorer and a message regarding server errors.

    “Goshdarnit! Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault. We’ve just been notified of the problem. Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”

    I did this over several hours and different days, so I do not know what is the problem.
