wordpress change blog address

  I recently contacted you with a issues, I have part resolved this issue however I’m still having some problems. I used to have an old wordpress account with the blog address I want to use for new one (current one in use). I deleted the old to make the blog url available to the new one I’m creating, however when I’m trying to change the current one to the new one it still says the address is unavailable even though the address is not in use.

  Would the url become available again, and if so how long will I have to wait?

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, you are not able to reuse a deleted blog’s URL.

  Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. If it is available, it will be yours.
