  Hi there,

  I recently had my wordpress purchase refunded, as I made a mistake in starting my website on wordpress.com, rather than wordpress.org. I made the purchase and the cancellation all within the same few hours. Looking at my bank statement, I was charged $132.47CAN and only refunded $126.01CAN. Can you tell me why this was? I was told I was being offered a full refund. Thank you :)

  Hi there,

  According to our logs you made the payment in US$ at a cost of $99, and we also refunded $99 when you cancelled the upgrade. You should also see this if you look at the receipts in your billing history:
  https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  If you paid in US$ from a Canadian bank account then the difference is most likely due to currency fluctuations, or a foreign exchange fee levied by your bank. We don’t have any control over that.
