    Hi, it says I am getting a free year when i sign up, however it says $120 due. It says on one side it’s free for a year, and then asks me for all my payment details and says the total is $120. Can you confirm i will be charged $120 today, or in 1 year and i wont be charged today?

    Hi there,

    Is it possible you are seeing the Free domain for one year statement?

    That means, with your WordPress.com upgrade, one year of domain name owning is free.

    You can have a free domain address with WordPress. Those will have the yourgroovysite.WORDPRESS.COM ending, but they are fully free.

    If you choose from one of the WordPress Plans, those will come with different extra capabilities for your site. These plans are all including one your domain fee, which otherwise is extra. After the first year there will be a domain renewal fee.
