WordPress charging me $13.00
-
I paid WordPress for http://mysociopath.net.
That site expired over a year ago.
I am locked out and cannot post.
I spent all day playing around until I was able to manipulate it to http://mysociopath.wordpress.com.
I thought whew, finally, I can blog.
I am still locked out until I pay $13.00.
I thought WordPress was free when using mysociopath.wordpress.com?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You should be able to post in http://mysociopath.wordpress.com/ – the overlay you see when you visit the site is a reminder about the expired domain mapping – I have flagged this for the staff – they can remove the overlay for you
-
Thank you. When I spent hours manipulating myself around the overlay, I was finally able to quickly change it to mysociopath.wordpress.com, and then the overlay still never disappeared.
Mysociopath.wordpress.com does not appear for the public either. The Overlay is on for the public too. -
Overlay is still on. This is so frustrating. I attempted to get back into my blog, without paying the high price of the vanity URL, and just going back to mysociopath.wordpress.com, a year ago. Spent days trying to get a hold of customer support to help me and then eventually gave up. Now, a year later, I am struggling for days, again, to fix this issue, again.
I don’t understand why this Overlay has been on there for so many years and even after I, finally, figured out how to manipulate through it and mechanically change it to mysociopath.wordpress.com. -
Hi there,
I have removed the overlay from your site – sorry for the inconvenience.
Let me know if you have any questions or issues.
Thanks!
