  I can’t get WordPress Classic because on the plug-in it only gives me ‘jetpack’. Classic let me do captions on photos. Now I can’t get the captions to show on the post.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of captions on gallery images? That is not currently supported in the gallery block, no, but it’s being worked on by our developers.

  For now, you can use the classic block in the editor to insert your gallery instead, then captions should work as you’re used to:
