WordPress.com: Can't edit title of home page (Shoreditch Theme)

  Why is this class here?

  

  It makes it so the user cannot edit the title of the home page in the block editor. I see no other way to edit the title in the WP Admin.

  For me, this is a problem because the Shoreditch theme uses the title of the home page in its hero image. I could hide the title via CSS and add my own title in the block editor… but I feel like I shouldn’t have to do that. Why can’t I just change the title of the home page?

  Am I missing something? If there’s another way to edit the title of the home page I would love to know.

  Hi @jennieboop, that does sound odd. Is it only happening with Shoreditch?
