wordpress.com domain unavaiable?

I try to help to a friend to start his blog, and he got same issue. Typing his name – krzysztofkostka.wordpress.com – is the search box not resulting with option to choose that. All the time he got something like this:
Any advice?

Yep, I’ve got the same problem. I want to have the URL frukborderassociations.wordpress.com – which isn’t taken – but I’m offered frukborderassociationsprogram.code.blog

So, this has been solved for me. I asked the experts in the chat dialogue and one said to click the “business” or “professional” option at the start of the process when choosing what sort of site you want. Hopefully that will give the .wordpress.com domain option.
