WordPress.com eCommerce
-
Hi I was about to drop $540 on WordPress.com eCommerce. I want to develop a site that allows for the purchase of products via a checkout page for all major credit cards, paypal, Apple Pay, and anyway that you can pay for a product online, etc. I want products (photos, descriptions, and prices) to be taken down once a customer buys a product. This is an online antique store, so the items are unique and not stocked. Is there a way to do this with wordpress? Or at least automate that the product has been sold? I am not opposed to doing this manually either, but its very inefficient. I will see what I can do with the wordpress themes and woocommerce widget now, but let me know if the WordPress.com eCommerce will help me before I pay for it. Do you guys have phone support? I wanted to talk to someone about this but I may have called outside of business hours.

Hi @ronaldsheaks, we aren’t in a call center, but we do have extensive support when you sign up for a plan.
What you’re describing is not a built-in feature of WordPress or WooCommerce, but it looks like there are multiple plugins out there that can hide out of stock products for you.
I’d recommend reaching out to WooCommerce sales directly to see what they’d recommend (as we know you can get support for those), or you can research plugin options out there by searching for
WooCommerce hide out of stock products. Just note if you buy a plugin elsewhere, they will be the primary support for that plugin. Our support would help how they can, but if there’s an error they would send you to that company’s support.I hope this helps a bit! You can reach sales for WooCommerce here:

Hi @supernovia
This helps a great deal. With WooCommerce it is easy to set up a gallery of products. I will reach out to WooCommerce. Thanks for deciphering that question. It is good to know that there is support online.
Thank You.
