WordPress.com/Jetpack connection/stats messed up after moving to a new server
-
I moved to a new server. My site was connected to Jetpack for stats and label printing. I had my hosting provider move my site from a shared server to a dedicated server… in the process there was a temporary URL. After the move when the URL was fixed, Jetpack saved all of the historical stats to the temporary URL, and the new one has started over. I would like to get my stats back if possible?

Hi there,
Is http://5280customwebdesign.com/ the site you need help with, or are you speaking of another Jetpack site in your account?
What is the temporary URL that was connected to Jetpack during this process?

I just came across your second comment here in our spam queue. But I still need to know the temp URL you had connected, please.

Hi,
My site is https://thecoloradocookiecomapny.com
During the server switch the site was cloned to https://new.thecoloradocookiecompany.com then the URL was fixed.
Now, the temporary site doesn’t exist, but it shows up in my wordpress.com account, and has all of my historical stats for thecoloradocookiecomapny.com. When I connect the site to Jetpack everything is started fresh.
Thanks,

Hi Mark,
I have transferred the stats from your temporary site to your prodcution one.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.

Hi,
Looks like it happened again…. I updated my jetpack plugin and lost all of my historical stats. I tried deactivating and reactivating, but it didn’t fix the issue. Anything you can do to help?
Thanks.

Hi, thanks! I am seeing the historical stats, but did loose the last ten + days. Is there any way I can recover those days?
