Wordpress.com Jetpack stats will break on export to excel when the article name ends with double quotes.

Hi there!
It sounds like it might be a bug, however, we’d need some more information about this to be able to report it. Could you please let us know more details?
You can also contact Jetpack support directly from https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support -
To reproduce, create a new post with title ending with double quotes (“). For example – Find length of an array in “java”
Connect the site through Jetpack plugin and view stats on wordpress.com. Then for post and pages, do “Download data as CSV” . On opening the downloaded excel, you’ll see the row corresponding to the above title is merged with the next row.

I’ve not been able to duplicate this yet. Just to be sure we’re on the same page, I’m going here:
https://wordpress.com/stats/day/posts
I export as a CSV. A few of my posts end in quotes.
I don’t have Excel, but I’m importing into Google Sheets and that’s working alright.
Can you send more details? Also, if you import into Sheets do you have the same issue, or is the CSV only breaking for Excel?

okay, please try with two double quotes like in – Find length of an array in “java”
You’re using correct url to investigate the issue. I’m using excel but I can see the issue in google sheets as well.

I’m able to replicate what you’re seeing.
I’ve reported the issue to the Jetpack team in https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/14361. You’re welcome to follow along there on any progress. Thanks for reporting this.
