WordPress.com Migration to WordPress.org

    Hi,

    I just purchased a domain and currently using WordPress.org to set-up my new website. I wanted to have my media and current WordPress.com (racerxph.wordpress.com) theme to reflect the new site.

    I tried to follow the instructions online (How To Migrate An Existing WordPress.com Site) but that did not give me the results I wanted. I exported then imported the XML document but it only added the admins from my previous site. There are some photos on the Media Tab but not all and the new site is nowhere like the former blog site.

    I am only mediocre user. I do have some experience in WordPress but I’m starting this website on my own, for the first time. Hope you can steer me into the right direction. Thanks!
