WordPress.com plan comparison screenshots

In trying to decide which Worpdress plan is right for me, I would really appreciate a visual walkthrough of the actual settings differences in the dashboard for the different plans.

The page https://wordpress.com/pricing/ lists the differences between the plans (as does the section ‘Plan’ in the dashboard), but for each feature that is added to a higher plan, where can I see up to date screenshots of the dashboard for that specific feature?

Alternatively, would it be possible for the free plan to have all the exact options as the most expensive plan? Of course these options would not work, but there would be an ‘upgrade’ button nearby so that, by discovering WordPress Free through the dashboard, I would have an idea of which options I would need (and which paid plan fits my needs)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you give more details of what you actually need to do with your site? The Business plan obviously gives you ultimate flexibility if you actually own a business. The Premium plan gives you access to custom CSS , access to any Premium themes and basic monetization. The Personal plan is best for hobby sites giving you a custom domain address and no ads. Thanks for your answer

That’s not the point of my question. I want to discover what WordPress can/cannot do in a practical way, and how it translates on a day to day basis in the dashboard.

All these blog posts and help you guys have either have no screenshots of the dashboard for the corresponding features, or are incomplete.

I could list a few of them but I’m afraid you would think the few features I list are the only ones I care about, while I actually care about discovering all of them first, then ruling them out, or adding them to my list as I go through them. I actually care about discovering new features that way that might come later. The best solution I see would be screenshots on the pricing page (https://wordpress.com/pricing/) for each feature (or at list a link to a blog with screenshots)

So here is an example, but please remember I’m trying to do that for all features that can be configured in the dashboard, so I can make two decisions for each feature:
    1. Do I need this feature and/or might want it later?
    2. What does the feature look like/what can I configure in the dashboard?

Example from the blog post you link to (https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/):
In the “WordPress.com Business” section, there is a bullet list, with no screenshots at all. So the only thing you have for instance is “SEO tools”. That’s it, no screenshot, nothing more, no idea what it looks like in the dashboard, where I find it, and what can be configured.

I want to discover visually what the features listed at https://wordpress.com/pricing/ look like in the dashboard.

So my question is not specific to a feature: is there a page you keep up to date with screenshots of all sections/menus/submenus of the dashboard? (especially the non-free options)

A picture is worth a thousand words, and the official blog posts I found so far don’t have much images of the dashboard for the features they are discussing. Also, non official blog posts are often outdated, but if you know of one that is current, would you please share it?

    Thanks

I don’t think the dashboards of the free/Personal/Premium plans are very different at all. And every “feature” you mention already has a full page description in the support docs, for example: https://en.support.wordpress.com/seo-tools/
