WordPress.com Post template
-
Is it possible to make a post template, such that, when I want to create a new post, I can choose that template and it will populate a draft post with the various blocks that I want and I can just pop in the new text and images?
Not sure if this is the same thing or not, but I have read in the Help about the Single Template, but I do not see any Template section in my sidebar or anywhere really.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! What you’re describing sounds a lot like patterns:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/block-pattern/However that isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, because they’re pre-prepared and aren’t really configurable.
I think you’d be able to get what you need from setting up your template and saving it as a Reusable Block. That way you can load up the new post editor, insert your reusable block, convert it to regular blocks (this step is important, you’re basically “detaching” it from the template so the changes don’t happen everywhere that block is added) and customize the post as you need.
We do have a guide regarding reusable blocks here:
