WordPress.com Premium plan – Presale questions
-
Hi, All
We are interested in wordpress.com Premium plan.
– Our customer hope to close ports: 21 and 3306 to get higher security level. Is it possible to do it?
– Do all the plans comply with ISO27001?
– Where is the data-center? Can we choose them?
– How many websites can storge in one plan?
Thanks!
Jac.

Hi there,

WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider, and we don’t offer any server-level configuration options. The only exception is on our Business Plan where you have some control over the PHP version for your site.
All sites on WordPress.com have exactly the same level of security, from free right up to our most expensive plan, and our security is among the best in the WordPress ecosystem.
– Where is the data-center? Can we choose them?
We do not publicly disclose the locations of our data centers. We also don’t offer an option to choose in which data center your site content is hosted – content for all sites hosted on WordPress.com are cached on our CDN servers around the world.
– How many websites can storge in one plan?
All our plans are purchased per site. If you want multiple sites to be on the premium plan, you’ll need to buy a separate plan for each site.

Hi
Sorry for asking again.
Do you mean there is no permission to close ports: 21 and 3306 on all wordpress plan. Am I correct?
Thanks!

Yes, that’s correct. WordPress.com is a managed hosting environment and we don’t allow individual security tweaks. The security of all WordPress.com hosted sites is managed by us.
