WordPress.com Reader shows posts from a deleted blog instead of my Jetpack site

    Hi,

I’m having an issue where the WordPress.com Reader is pulling posts from a deleted WordPress.com blog instead of my actual Jetpack-connected site.

    My current site:

    https://anywherewithannie.com

    My correct RSS feed:

    https://anywherewithannie.com/feed/

However, when I follow my site in the WordPress.com Reader, it shows an old post titled:

    “Title – Anne in love – Jan 6, 2025”

This is from a blog I previously owned (“AnneInLove”), which has already been deleted. The Reader is not showing anything from my actual website.

    I have already tried:

    • Unfollowing and refollowing
    • Following the direct feed URL
    • Resetting the Jetpack connection
    • Disconnecting/reconnecting Jetpack
    • Reinstalling Jetpack
    • Clearing browser cache
    • Trying multiple browsers and devices

My website feed works correctly (I exported and checked it), and Jetpack on my site is functioning normally. It seems like my Reader subscription is still mapped to an old internal Site ID from the deleted AnneInLove WordPress.com blog.

Could a Happiness Engineer please remove the orphaned or corrupted Site ID from my account and reconnect the Reader to the correct Jetpack site (anywherewithannie.com)?

Let me know if you need any screenshots—happy to provide them.

    Thank you!
