WordPress.com says I don’t own the domain I purchased through WordPress.com?
-
I both purchased the projectdrwebsite.com domain and upgraded my plan to the monthly business plan completely through wordpress.com.
I then enabled multisite functionality, have not messed with subdomain wildcards or DNS at all yet.
Now, when I try to view “My Sites” on WordPress.com, it says I don’t have any sites or domains at all. The purchase history also says in the statuses I don’t own the site or domain anymore. This has locked my personal account out of the business plan features like live support, but the net-admin side of my website still lets me install plugins, which is a business plan-only feature.
This is strange because I can log into https://projectdrwebsite.com/wp-admin/ just fine, with the same email, but my account at wordpress.com, where I initiated everythin, says I no longer own any of it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Apologies for the issue you faced. It appears the connection between the site and your WordPress.com account was broken somehow. I believe I’ve fixed the connection. I checked your account, and the site now shows up on your dashboard. Can you check now and let us know if the issue is solved?
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

I just logged in and everything is back! Thank you so much!
Still curious how the connection would have been broken, but now I can get back to work. Thanks again!
