  Hello, I purchased through bluehost.com and I am running my website through them. It also directs me to wordpress.org. Do I need an account on both wordpress.com and wordpress.org? If I don’t….can I delete the wordpress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you use the Jetpack plugin https://jetpack.com on your site hosted by Bluehost then you do need a wordpress.COM account.

  Hi there,

  Specifically, your site stats in the dashboard is a Jetpack feature that can only work with an active connection to WordPress.com, so you should not delete your WordPress.com account if you want that to continue working. You also appear to be using some other Jetpack features, like the sharing buttons on your site, and our Photon CDN that help images on your site load faster.
