WordPress – creating 'ABOUT page'

  I am trying to create the about page. I created the new page, and published it. Then I created the widget and published it. I can see the widget on the sidebar, but it does not allow me to go to the about page from the widget. I cannot see how the page I created was created as an about page. There was no place to identify it as such.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi watergardenponderings,

  At the moment, I can’t see the ‘About’ page.

  Did you use the ‘Pages’ widget within ‘Themes’ > ‘Customize’ > ‘Sidebar’?

  The pages you have within your site should automatically appear in the preview pane of your site and then you’re able to customize this ‘Pages’ widget.

  I removed the page that I was trying to create as my about page.
  I will follow your instructions and see what I get.
