WordPress Critical Error Can’t Contact Support
-
I’ve encountered a critical error and live chat and email are grayed out because my site is labeled as ‘unknown site’ due to it being unable to access any of the site information. There is no email in my inbox with troubleshooting information, and absolutely no way to contact support. I am close to canceling and starting us over with a new company. If anyone knows a work around to be able to contact support that does not require the site name being available please let me know.

If you’re unable to contact support through the channels provided by your hosting company, here are a few suggestions you can try:
- Look for a community forum: Many hosting companies have community forums where users can ask questions and get help from other users. Look for a forum for your hosting company and see if other users have experienced similar issues. If you can’t find a community forum on the hosting company’s website, try searching online for a forum or Facebook group dedicated to the hosting company.
- Check the hosting company’s social media accounts: Many companies have active social media accounts, such as Twitter or Facebook, where customers can post their questions and concerns. Check if your hosting company has a social media account and send them a direct message or tweet to see if they can help.
- Contact the hosting company’s parent company: If your hosting company is owned by a larger parent company, try contacting them to see if they can help. Look for contact information for the parent company on their website or do a search online.
- Consider switching hosting companies: If you’ve tried all the above suggestions and still can’t get in touch with support, it may be time to consider switching to a new hosting company. Look for a hosting company with good customer support and reliable service, and be sure to do your research before making the switch.
Remember, it’s important to keep a backup of your website before making any major changes or switching hosting companies, to ensure that you don’t lose any important data.

Hey there –
I took a closer look at this as the site was still showing a critical error. Upon closer investigation I noticed that the Elementor plugin was triggering the fatal error. I deactivated the plugin and your site now works again. You’ll need to work with Elementor on why that’s happening. Keep in mind you don’t need a site builder and it will be less headache to build this project with our interface.
