    Hi. The website says my username is taken, but it’s not taken; I changed it. I shouldn’t have. I didn’t know I couldn’t change it back myself. I was just tinkering. My apologies. Can you please change my username back to “jaredpritchard?” The username hasn’t been available since I changed my username, so I know it hasn’t been taken. Please help! I really like WordPress and I can promise it won’t change again!

    Hi @jspritchard, unfortunately when you change a username, the old WordPress.com username will be unavailable forever. We don’t have admin tools to undo that, and there are warnings when you change the name.

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread so the OP doesn’t get unrelated notifications. Sorry we can’t do more in this case!
