WordPress Customization help

    I bought my domain through Go Daddy so I log in there and go to my dashboard and click on admin and it loads my WordPress layout. I bought a theme and installed it but I can’t use the customize feature and I don’t know how to update the theme with my content.

    Hi there! You’ve landed on the support forum for sites that are hosted here with us on WordPress.com. As you mentioned that your site is hosted with GoDaddy, it sounds like you’re using the WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org instead.

    WordPress.org does also have a community forum! You can find it at this address:

    In short, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com.
